Kids Empowering Kids

Leanna N. did a Book Drive for the DreamDog Foundation, collecting more than 450 books for children who, otherwise, would not own their own books.  We set up a DreamDog “Book Store” at Community Lodgings and the kids were thrilled to “shop” for their own books.

Leanna was there to help out and was so excited to see how happy her book drive made all the children.  They were leaving with handfuls of books, sharing their finds with friends.  It was such a fun day for all the children who were there.  And, there were even books left to set up a lender’s library at Community Lodgings.
